Biography

Sarah Stanton is the General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Secretary at Trinity Capital. Her experience and expansive knowledge in corporate governance, SEC and Nasdaq compliance and mergers/acquisitions has been wildly beneficial for Trinity. Prior to Trinity, Stanton served as a Senior Associate General Counsel at Verra Mobility, where she handled corporate and securities matters, including SEC reporting, public company compliance and M&A. Sarah has also represented multiple public and private companies in corporate governance matters and domestic and cross-border M&A at DLA Piper and Rusing Lopez & Lizardi. She had also been recognized in the Super Lawyers as a Southwest Rising Star for 2014 through 2018. Stanton is a graduate from the University of Arizona earning her Bachelor’s in Journalism as well as her Juris Doctor degree.
